Lang Son leaders check preparation for President Ho Chi Minh’s 130th birthday celebrations

(LSO) – A delegation led by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Duong Xuan Huyen had a fact-finding trip on March 24 to inspect preparation for the celebrations of President Ho Chi Minh’s 130th birthday (May 19, 1890 – 2020) and restoration of Road 4 victory historic complex in Trang Dinh district.

The delegation inspected a number of relic sites including Deo Khach station, Ban Nam victory relic, Bong Lau – Lung Phay victory monument, Lung Phay victory relic, Khuoi Slao – Bong Lau victory relic and President Ho Chi Minh monument.

The People’s Committee of Trang Dinh district reported the delegation on its preparation for President Ho Chi Minh’s 130th birthday celebrations and restoration of Road 4 victory historic complex in the district.

The restoration progress has basically kept up with the schedule while the district has developed plans for the organization of the celebrations and established a sub-committee to coordinate with the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in this matter.

Huyen highly spoke of active efforts of Trang Dinh district’s authorities and relevant departments and agencies in the work. He asked the district to continue closely working with other provincial bodies to fulfill their assigned tasks.

The district must also keep in mind the significance of the relic preservation and promotion and fast-track the construction of its tourist spots./.
