Vietnamese, Chinese border guards disseminate law to residents
(LSO) – In response to Vietnam’s Law Day (November 9), Vietnam’s Huu Nghi (Friendship) International Border Gate’s Border Guard Station coordinated with China’s Huu Nghi Quan (Friendship Pass) immigration checkpoint station to organise an event in the northern province of Lang Son on November 7 to disseminate law to people in the shared border areas.
Border guards of the two countries disseminated legal regulations to improve the quality of control at their border gates in Vietnamese and Chinese languages.
They also distributed thousands of leaflets to help people in the shared border areas understand better about the bilateral agreement on border and border gate management regulations.
Officers from Vietnam’s Huu Nghi (Friendship) International Border Gate’s Border Guard Station and China’s Huu Nghi Quan (Friendship Pass) immigration checkpoint station distribute leaflets disseminating law to people in the shared border areas.
The dissemination of law was implemented according to the spirit of the minutes of the working talks between Vietnamese border guard officers from Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Cao Bang and Ha Giang, and counterparts from China’s Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Similar activities will be held at Tan Thanh and Na Hinh border gates (Van Lang district), Chi Ma (Loc Binh district), and Binh Nghi (Trang Dinh) on November 8-9.
