Performing some types of heritage at Ky Lua Walking Street

(LSO) – On the occasion of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day – November 23, on the evening of November 21, 2020, the People’s Committee of Lang Son city held some performances of types of heritage at Ky Lua Walking Street.

Attending were leaders of the City Party Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches and districts with a large number of tourists and people in the area.

In the program, at the stage opposite to Ta Phu Temple, artists from clubs in Lang Son city, Cao Loc district performed lion dance and more than 10 special art performances with the theme of praising the glorious Party, beloved Uncle Ho, praising the love for the homeland, the country, the land and the people of Xu Lang.

Also in the program, the delegates, the people and visitors visited the exhibition space, traditional craft performances such as knitting, weaving … and experienced a part of the old Ky Lua market space via 20 document photos and booths displaying items for daily activities such as handicraft products made of bamboo, rattan, honey, rice, agricultural products etc.

On this occasion, the leaders of the City People’s Committee announced and awarded the decision to create a class teaching and practicing “then singing” and “dan tinh”, with 50 students who are cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the city. The class will take place for 30 days, starting from November 21, 2020.

These activities contribute to introducing the cultural beauty, people, typical tourism products in Lang Son city in particular, and Lang Son province in general. Thereby, it helps people understand more about cultural heritages, which increases their pride and sense of responsibility for the conservation and promotion of the cultural heritage value of the nation.
