Lang Son province seeks way to address land-related issues
(LSO) – A delegation of the Standing Board of the Party Committee of Lang Son province had a working session with Minister Tran Hong Ha and other officials from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE) in Hanoi on October 29.
Lang Son’s officials presented difficulties and obstacles to the implementation of legal regulations on natural resources and environment in Lang Son.
The problems lie with land planning, use, reclamation and land use purpose transfer, and reports on environmental impacts of investment projects.

Speaking at the meeting, Ha urged Lang Son make a report on difficulties hindering the implementation of the Land Law, and submit the document to the Government in order to seek timely solutions.
The MoNRE will provide consultations for the Government in amending relevant decrees or propose the National Assembly revise relevant laws, making them match the reality, such as regulations on the change of land use purposes, land reclamation and land use right certification, he said.
The minister asked Lang Son to pay attention to infrastructure, especially transport and telecommunications, and flood prevention during planning, given the complex development of climate change.

In her remarks, Lam Thi Thanh Phuong, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, thanked Minister Ha for his attention to difficulties facing Lang Son and proposals by provincial leaders.
The minister’s opinions will help Lang Son put forth solutions in making planning schemes and socio-economic development plans, the official said.
