Over 700 athletes compete at Noi Vong Tay Lon Cycling Cup
(LSO) – In the morning of October 27, the Lang Son People’s Committee together with the Vietnam Cycling Federation (VCF) and northern Noi Vong Tay Lon cycling association opened the 2019 Northern Noi Vong Tay Lon Cycling Cup.
Prominent among the attendees of the opening ceremony were Duong Xuan Huyen, Vice Chairman of the committee, Lang Son city leaders and representatives of the VCF.

More than 700 cyclists from 56 clubs in northern provinces and cities competed in different age categories at the event. Their 25km race began at the provincial museum on Hung Vuong street in Lang Son city, running through Mai Pha bridge and finishing at the welcome gate of the Huu Nghi border gate.
The race was rounded off with 12 sets of medals presented to outstanding individuals and teams.

The competition was among the activities celebrating the 110th birth anniversary of Hoang Van Thu (November 4, 1909 – 2019) and the 188th founding anniversary of Lang Son province (November 4, 1831 – 2019).
